Dr. Sonia Quintas Gutiérrez has a degree in Medicine from the Autonomous University of Madrid (2012) and specialized in Neurology at the Hospital Universitario de La Princesa (2017).
She has a special interest in headaches and neurodegenerative diseases. She has extensive experience in the interpretation and performance of cerebrovascular and parenchyma (substantia nigra) neurosonographic studies, having completed the university expert course in Neurosonology at the University of Almería (2021). She has also completed her training with the Expert Degree in Headaches from the Francisco de Vitoria University (2020) and the Master’s Degree in movement disorders from the University of Murcia (2021). She is the author of more than 50 publications in national and international magazines and book chapters. She is the current coordinator of the youth group of the Headache Study Group of the Spanish Society of Neurology.
She is currently part of the Sleep Institute as a Specialist Neurologist.
