Dr. Sabela Novo Ponte completed her medical studies at the University of Santiago de Compostela (2013) and specialized in Neurology at the Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda University Hospital (2018). He has a special interest in movement disorders and has completed his training at Mount Sinai Movement Disorders Unit in New York. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in movement disorders.
Experience in infiltration of botulinum toxin in hemifacial spasm, blepharospasm and other dystonia, chronic migraine and other indications. Management of advanced pharmacological therapies in Parkinson’s disease, performing ultrasound doppler ultrasound of supraaortic and transcranial trunks, and special interest in black substance ultrasound.
He has participated in national and international conferences and is an active member of multiple clinical trials. He has won a research grant for a proposal applied to patients with Parkinson’s disease.
He is currently part of the Sleep Institute as a Sleep Specialist Neurologist.
